Discovered in Nature

Image Stone Cave
Stone Caves are found randomly as you explore territory. They are somewhat rare and the Stone they give can be very useful. Troodonts really like Caves so you may have to fight off a group of them first. To get Stone from an unclaimed Cave, tap the Cave and select “Mine.” A Cave can be mined for more Stone every 6 hours.

If the Cave is owned by another player Image, you might want to leave it alone. However, if you’re really determined to get at the Stone inside, you can tap the Cave and select “Attack” to destroy the Cave’s defenses. After the claim has been destroyed, you can Mine to your heart’s content.

If you don’t want anyone else to Mine your Stone Cave, you can claim it for yourself by tapping the Cave and choosing “Take Control.”
Resources Needed: 2 Wood

Image Iron Cave
Iron Caves are found randomly as you explore territory and if you come across one, it will probably be one of your favorite buildings because the Iron Ore mined here is very precious. To get Iron Ore from an unclaimed Cave, tap the Cave and select “Mine.” A Cave can be mined for more Iron Ore every 6 hours.

If the Cave is owned by another player Image, you might want to leave it alone. However, if you’re really determined to get at the Iron Ore within, you can tap the Cave and select “Attack” to destroy the Cave’s defenses. After the claim has been destroyed, you can Mine to your heart’s content.

If you don’t want anyone else to Mine your Iron Ore, you can claim it for yourself by selecting the Cave and choosing “Take Control.”

Image Sulfur Deposit
Sulfur Deposits are found out in the water. They are rare and the Sulfur mined from them is very valuable. To get Sulfur from an unclaimed Deposit, tap the Deposit and select “Mine.” A Deposit can be mined for more Sulfur every 6 hours.

If the Deposit is owned by another player Image, you might want to think twice before trying to get at the Sulfur. However, if you decide you really want it, you can tap the Deposit and select “Attack” to destroy the Deposit’s defenses. After the claim has been destroyed, you can Mine to your heart’s content.

If you don’t want anyone else to Mine your Sulfur, you can claim it for yourself by selecting the Deposit and choosing “Take Control.”

Image Troll Hut
Troll huts are found randomly throughout Parallel Kingdom. They serve several purposes. First, they can heal you for a few gold. Second, Troll Huts are the best place to buy Roc Feathers in bulk (that is, as long as you haven’t been attacking Trolls recently). Third, you can give 3 Roc Eggs to the Troll Hut to unlock the Troll Lore skill set.

Built by Players

Image Flag
Flags are THE building for marking your territory, traveling and expanding your personal Kingdom. New flags can only be built on unclaimed territory.

You can travel to any flag you own that you can see by tapping it and selecting “Visit.” This costs 2 Roc Feathers. You can also travel to any Public Flag within sight and to anyone else’s flag who has granted you Right of Passage.

To build a Flag, go to “Menu” >> “Create” >> “Build” >> “Flag”

Image Buoy
Buoys are the structures that mark your territory in the water. You can travel to any Buoy you own that you can see by tapping it and selecting “Visit.” This costs 2 Roc Feathers. You can also travel to any Public Buoy within sight and to anyone else’s buoy who has granted you Right of Passage.

To build a new Buoy, you’ll probably need to get into the water first. To do this, tap anywhere out in the nearby water and you’ll get the option to “Build a Raft.” If you spend the resources (3 Wood, 3 Crude Oil and 2 Silk) and you’ll see a raft under your character. After you’re out in the water, find some open territory in the water and go to “Menu” >> “Create” >> “Build” >> “Buoy”
Resources Needed: 3 Crude Oil, 5 Wood

Image Log Cabin
This will be the first home you build in Parallel Kingdom. Once you build a Log Cabin, you will be able to go to “Menu” and then “Estates” and you’ll see a small picture of your Log Cabin. By tapping this, you’ll have the option to visit your Log Cabin. This means once you build it, you can go back to it anytime you want (as long as you have enough Roc Feathers).

You can only build one Log Cabin, so if you ever want to move it, you’ll have to destroy your current one first and build a new one somewhere else.

To build a Log Cabin, go to “Menu” >> “Create” >> “Build” >> “Log Cabin”
Resources Needed: 3 Wood

Once your Log Cabin is built, you’ll be able to select and upgrade it into a House as long as you have the required resources.

Image House
You can get a House by upgrading your Log Cabin. Houses have all the benefits of a Log Cabin, plus they have more hit points and you can go inside of them. Once you build a House, you will be able to go to “Menu” and then “Estates” and you’ll see a small picture of your House. By tapping this, you’ll have the option to visit your House. To go inside of your House, tap it and select “Enter.” You’ll go inside of your House and you can now drop items and resources on the ground for storage. It’s your House, decorate it however you want!

You can only have one House, so if you ever want to move it, you’ll have to destroy your current one first and build a new one somewhere else.

To build a House, select your current Log Cabin and select “Upgrade’
Resources Needed: 20 Wood

Once your House is built, you’ll be able to select and upgrade it into a Manor as long as you have the required resources.

Image Manor
You can get a Manor by upgrading your House. Your Manor will have all the benefits of a House, plus it has more hit points, you can name it, and you can build additional upgrades onto it. Once you upgrade to Manor, you will be able to go to “Menu” and then “Estates” and you’ll see a small picture of your Manor. By tapping this, you’ll have the option to Visit. To go inside of your Manor, tap it and select “Enter.” You’ll go inside and you can drop items and resources on the ground for storage. On the left wall, you’ll notice a door. This door will take you to your upstairs where you can go inside the various upgrades you’ve built onto your Manor.

You can only have one Manor, so if you ever want to move it, you’ll have to destroy your current one first and build a new one somewhere else.

To build a Manor, select your current House and select “Upgrade’
Resources Needed: 20 Stone

Once your Manor is built, you’ll be able to select and build three additional upgrades onto the Manor if you have the resources. The upgrades you can build are a Roc Chapel, Drafting Room, and Trophy Room.

Roc Chapel
Roc Chapel is one of the two additions that can be built onto your Manor. It allows a certain amount of your flags to be upgraded to Roc Shrines. Initially, a Roc Chapel can only support one Roc Shrine, but it can be upgraded with Food to support more. Each upgrade will support one additional Roc Shrine up to a maximum of 10.
Initial Resources Needed: 10 Stone (Additional upgrades require Food)

Drafting Room
Drafting Room is an addition that you can build onto your Manor. It allows a certain amount of your flags to be upgraded into Guard Towers. Initially, a Drafting Room can only support one Guard Tower, but it can be upgraded with Food to support more. Each upgrade will support one additional Guard Tower up to a maximum of 10.
Initial Resources Needed: 10 Stone (Additional upgrades require Food)

Trophy Room
The Trophy Room is another addition built onto the Manor. This room allows you to display your most prized and hard earned possessions. When you build the addition, you can go inside your house and see your Trophy Room from the upstairs hallway. This room is a collection of pedestals upon which you place the items that you would like to show off. One pedestal comes with the initial Trophy Room upgrade and each additional pedestal is unlocked for a price, up to a maximum of 14. When you place an item on a pedestal, it becomes available in your profile page so others can see it. These items will remain in your inventory so you can still use them as you normally would.
Initial Resources Needed: 10 Stone and 5,000 Gold (Additional upgrades require Food)

Workshop
The Workshop is used by Weaponsmiths to create weapons and armor infused with Special Metals and Gems. Once the addition has been built, go inside and tap the large table in the middle of the room. Here you’ll “Place Items” from your inventory to use in the crafting. Once you have placed the Special Metal, Gems, and Weapon/Armor onto the bench, use the blue back arrow and tap the Bench again. This time select “Craft” and you’ll see a menu of all the items you can make with what you’ve placed on the table.
Initial Resources Needed: 20 Stone and 20 Wood

Image Roc Shrine
Roc Shrines are upgraded hardened flags. You can build these once you have a Manor with the Roc Chapel addition. Once you upgrade one of your flags into a Roc Shrine you will be asked to name it, and then it will be permanently in your Estates menu. This means you can easily visit your Roc Shrine whenever you want. These are great to build next to Caves, Dungeons, and Troll Huts. The more you upgrade your Roc Chapel, the more Roc Shrines you can build, up to a maximum of 10.
Resources Needed: 3 Stone, 3 Wood, 1 Hardened Flag

Image Guard Tower
Guard Towers are upgraded hardened flags. You can build these once you have a Manor with the Drafting Room addition. Once you upgrade one of your flags into a Guard Tower, you will be asked to name it, and then it will be permanently in your Estates menu. This means you can easily visit your Guard Tower whenever you want. The other great benefit of Guard Towers is that they automatically protect your territory from unwanted trespassers. These are great to build near your Mourning Tree farms, Caves, and important territory boundaries. The more you upgrade your Drafting Room, the more Guard Towers you can build, up to a maximum of 10.
Resources Needed: 10 Stone, 10 Wood, 1 Hardened Flag

Image Sunken House
Sunken Houses are relics from the previous Age of Parallel Kingdom. The Age of Emergence began with an epic flood of catastrophic proportions, flooding all the houses that were in water territory. No new Houses can be built in the water at this time.

Image Great Library
The Great Library is a giant, one-of-a-kind wonder that brought about the Age of Emergence. You can go here to purchase the blueprints needed to build a Library.

Image Library
A Library is a building that you can build on territory you control (not in cities). You can study in Libraries to gain Pages for Food. Hey, librarians have to eat too. You can study at each Library once and once only – including your own. You can also only study once per day, even if it is at a different library. The more you study, the more Pages you earn each time.

If you build a Library, other players can use it to study, and you will get a gold profit for each person that does. To build a Library, you will have to visit the Great Library and acquire a set of blueprints. Once you have these, you will be able to build your Library on any territory you control.
Resources Needed: 10 Stone, 5 Wood, 1 set of Blueprints

Image Sign
Signs are bought from Traveling Merchants. Once you have one in your inventory, you can post your sign anywhere on land, except in a city. Just go to “Menu” >> “Items” and select your Sign. Choose “Place Sign,” spend 1 Wood and write your message. Now anyone that comes along can read the message you’ve written. If someone destroys your Sign, it will go back into your inventory, but you’ll need to spend another Wood to post it again. If there is a length of 5 weeks where your Sign is not read by another player or Maintained by you, it will be removed from the game map and go back into your inventory.
Resources Needed: 1 Wood, 1 Sign

Image Statue
Statues are the best way for you to show off your Trophy Hats – besides actually wearing them. Statues are bought from Traveling Merchants and once purchased, you can erect them on any territory you control. To erect one, just go into your inventory and select the Trophy Hat you’d like to see on the statue. As long as you have at least one Statue in your inventory, you’ll see the option to “Erect Statue.” Select that option and stand back as fellow players give you praise and tribute for your accomplishments.
Resources Needed: 1 Statue, 3 Stone, 1 Trophy Hat

City Buildings

Image City Center
A City Center is the founding building for every city. When visiting a city through Estates, this where you’ll end up. Any City Center that you have ever visited will be permanently in your Estates menu, so you can go back anytime by paying the Roc Feathers.

Also, if you have some Crude Oil that you want turned into Refined Oil, this is the place. To Refine Oil, just tap the City Center and select “Refine Oil.” Then enter in the amount of Crude Oil you want to Refine.
Resources Needed: Each unit of Refined Oil costs 1 Crude Oil and 1 Food

If you aren’t a member of any other city, you can visit a City Center, tap it and choose to “Become a Member.” This costs 1000 gold. Each new member receives one Oil Well for the cost of membership. As soon as you are a member, you will automatically travel to your Oil Well so you can start drilling for Crude.

You can only be a member of one city at a time. If you want to join a different city, you’ll have to visit your current city’s City Center, tap it, and select “Leave City.”

You can build a new City Center and found a new city, but it requires a lot of resources and a little teamwork. To build a City Center, you’ll need to get two other players together and pick a spot. Then, the 1st player will build the foundation wherever he or she is standing. This player must own the territory where the foundation is going to be built (must have a Flag nearby). The 2nd player will tap the foundation, and choose to “Add Walls.” The 3rd and final player will tap the building and select “Finish City Center.” Congratulations, you will have built a new city and all three of the founders will receive keys to the city, meaning you can travel back to the City Center anytime you want, for free (via the Estates menu).
Resources Needed: Player 1 – 10000 Gold, 30 Stone, 30 Wood
Resources Needed: Player 2 – 100 Stone
Resources Needed: Player 3 – 100 Wood

As players join a city, the city will annex surrounding flags or create new ones as needed. The city requires 3 new flags for each new member. The city will not expand into the water (no buoys).

Image Trade Post
There is one Trade Post located near the center of every city. Here, you can buy and sell all kinds of items, weapons, and resources. Just tap the building and choose “Enter.” Inside you’ll notice a glowing cash register. Select it and choose to “Buy or “Sell” When buying, you can browse the categories and see what other players have posted for sale. See something you like? Simply tap the item, and “Buy.”

If you choose to sell something, you’ll be shown your inventory. Select the item you wish to sell and choose “Sell for Food” or “Sell for Gold” depending on what you want to get for it. The Trade Post will automatically add its 10% markup. After your item is posted for sale, it will be removed from your inventory and you will get a Redemption Ticket. If you change your mind, you have 1 hour to get your items back free of charge using the Ticket. After that, you’ll have to go back to the Trade Post and buy the items back yourself.

Image Watch Tower
Watch Towers guard the city. They are huge imposing structures and they ensure that you won’t even think of getting aggressive near the City Center.

Image Oil Well
Oil Wells are buildings that draw out Crude Oil for you. This is also the building that allows you to grow Golems. You automatically get ownership of one Oil Well when you become a member of a city. You can claim additional Oil Wells by spending 5 Wood, as long as no one else beat you to it. You can “Grow Golems” at Oil Wells which can then be put to work in the Oil Well harvesting Crude Oil.

The more Golems working in an Oil Well, the faster they accumulate Crude. There are 3 sizes of Oil Wells. Small Oil Wells can hold 2 Golems, Medium Oil Wells can hold 3 Golems, and Large Oil Wells can hold 4. Each Oil Well has a limited storage capacity of Crude Oil, so you will have to go around and collect your Crude Oil every once in a while. Once a Well is at capacity, the Golems will stop working. The max capacity can be increased by investing Crystal at the Oil Well.

You can Raid other player’s Oil Wells by tapping the Well and selecting “Raid.” If you are successful, you will get 20% of the Crude Oil that the Well was storing. However, if your Raid is interrupted you will not be able to try again for 24 hours, so make sure that you clear out any enemies that might be nearby.

Image Crystal Patch
Crystal Patches are communal pools of Crystal that are found on city territory. Any member of the city can build a Crystal Hut near a Patch to harvest Crystal.

Image Crystal Hut
If you are a member of the city, you can build a Crystal Hut near a Crystal Patch and then your Golems will be able to gather Crystal for you. You can only build one Crystal Hut near each Crystal Patch. Each Crystal Hut has a limited storage capacity of Crystal, so you will have to go around and collect your Crystal every once in a while. Once a Hut is at capacity, the Golems will stop working. The max capacity can be increased by investing Crystal at the Hut.

The number of players using a given Crystal Patch will determine the max number of Golems that can work at each Crystal Hut. You can see from the info below that Crystal Patches are optimized when 2 players players are drawing Crystal from them.
When a Crystal Patch only has 1 Hut nearby, you can have 3 Golems working there
When a Crystal Patch has 2 Huts nearby, you can have 5 Golems working there
3 Huts nearby = 4 Golems at each Hut
4 Huts = 2 Golems at each Hut
5 Huts = 1 Golem at each Hut

To build a Crystal Hut, make sure your character is standing near a Crystal Patch and then go to “Menu” >> “Create” >> “Build” >> “Crystal Hut.” To build more than one Crystal Hut, you will need to use a Research Lab to unlock the technology. Also, each additional Crystal Hut requires more resources to build.

Resources Needed:
1st Crystal Hut – 3 Crude Oil
2nd Crystal Hut – 12 Crude Oil, 200 Crystal
3rd Crystal Hut – 48 Crude Oil, 400 Crystal
4th Crystal Hut – 192 Crude Oil, 600 Crystal
5th Crystal Hut – 768 Crude Oil, 800 Crystal

You can Raid other player’s Crystal Huts by tapping the Hut and selecting “Raid.” If you are successful, you will get 20% of the Crystal that the Hut was storing. However, if your Raid is interrupted you will not be able to try again for 24 hours, so make sure that you clear out any enemies that might be nearby.

Image Siege Factory
A Siege Factory will allow you to transform your Golems into deadly weapons of siege warfare. To use the Siege Factory, grow a Golem at a nearby Oil Well. Then tap the Siege Factory and choose “Make Siege Golem” or “Make Firebomb Golem” depending on the type you want. Your new Golem will walk over to the Siege Factory and immediately turn into the unit.

To build a Siege Factory, go near your Oil Wells and have your character stand where you want to build the building. Select “Menu” >> “Create” >> “Build” >> “Siege Factory”
Resources Needed: 100 Crystal, 3 Stone, 3 Wood

Image Armory
An Armory will allow you to transform your Golems into fierce military units. To use the Armory, grow a Golem at a nearby Oil Well. Then tap the Armory and choose “Make Axeman” or “Make Archer” depending on which unit you want. Your new Golem will walk over to the Armory and immediately turn into the unit.

To build an Armory, go near your Oil Wells and have your character stand where you want to build the building. Select “Menu” >> “Create” >> “Build” >> “Armory”
Resources Needed: 3 Wood, 3 Stone, 50 Crude Oil

Image Research Lab
A Research Lab will allow you to use Golems to research technologies that increase your power in the city. To use the Research Lab, select a nearby idle Golem and choose “Research Tech.” Then it will begin accumulating research points at the Research Lab. You can have up to 3 Golems researching at each Lab. After you have enough Research Points, you will be able to select the Research Lab and choose “Buy Tech.” Then a menu will come up showing you which technologies you can buy. Each technology gets progressively more expensive each time you upgrade it. The 3 types of technologies available are:
1. Increase your max number of Golems
2. Increase your max number of Crystal Huts
3. Increase your max number of Garrison Posts

To build a Research Lab, go near your Oil Wells and have your character stand where you want to build the building. Select “Menu” >> “Create” >> “Build” >> “Research Lab”
Resources Needed: 3 Wood, 3 Iron, 50 Crude Oil

Image Garrison Post
A Garrison Post houses your military Golems and keeps them ready to defend your city buildings. You can put 3 types of Golems here: Axman Golems, Archer Golems, and Firebomb Golems. When you have Golems stationed in the Garrison Post, they will come out automatically when another player tries to attack or raid your nearby buildings. The major bonus of the Garrison Post is that when the Golems stationed here are destroyed, they are not lost forever. They automatically respawn after 20 minutes and continue to defend your buildings.

To build a Garrison Post, go near the buildings you want to defend and have your character stand where you want to build. Select “Menu” >> “Create” >> “Build” >> “Garrison Post.” To build more than 2 Garrison Posts, you will need to use a Research Lab to unlock the technology.
Resources Needed: 3 Wood, 10 Crystal
